- Awesome Music: The original soundtrack composed for this game is very well made, with a compilation being made available by the devs.
- Harsher in Hindsight: This game’s version of Grandpa Armstrong is that of a Jerkass Old Master who was responsible for shaping Brad into the killing machine he is in the present via Training from Hell, with a noted disdain for Lisa. The remake of the original game reveals that this characterization is spot on, albeit Played for Horror instead of Black Comedy thanks to leaving Lisa to her fate with Marty.
- That One Level: The Bathhouse is much, much more irritating than the vanilla counterpart. While there’s no Lisa spiders, that’s the one bone thrown your way, with each door being a Luck-Based Mission on whether you progress or get thrown back to previous rooms or even the very start. There does exist a way to circumvent the maze, although it’s at the cost of all your levels, leaving you extremely weak against the Wolfpack Boss at the end. At least the artifact at the end is very powerful.
