• Signature Scene: The ending, where Louise reveals her fear of abandonment and Bob reassures her that they won't grow apart in the future. Many agree it's one of the saddest yet most heartwarming scenes of the series.
• The Woobie: The ending alone turns Louise into one. Having looked up to the titular duo, Louise saw them as a reflection of her close bond with Bob, only to have that perception shattered as she learns the two haven't spoken in decades. Despite being very tight-knit with Bob, she can't help but worry that they're doomed to repeat Koji and Yuki's mistakes, and it all comes out in the ending, where Louise seems on the verge of tears as she reveals her fears. It's all too fortunate that Bob is able to reassure her that they'll always be close.
