YMMV / Bobs Burgers S 10 E 17 Just The Trip

• Unintentionally Sympathetic: As usual, Bob is driven to the point of snapping because of his family's and/or friends' antics. But because everyone else had fun on their road trip with Nat, Bob apologizes for being angry at the many legitimate issues that happened. He even admits that he hates their road trips (that always go badly) but is glad that at least the family had a good time. No one apologizes to Bob for dragging him along when they knew that he doesn't like road trips, even though he even suggested that Linda take the kids alone and Bob could stay to work in the restaurant. Bob apologizing for being justifiably upset on a road trip is completely replicated in "Driving Big Dummy" two seasons later, even down to Bob apologizing to someone who completely ignored his discomfort and upset (that episode featuring Teddy as the insensitive one).
