YMMV / Beavis And Butthead S 9 E 13 Kidney

Go To

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: When Stewart and Beavis are both on the operating table, Stewart begins to display some serious hesitation over the surgery to remove his kidney and give it to Beavis. One way of looking at it is that Stewart was starting to feel genuine fear over surgery and getting a part of his own body removed. Or in this instance, considering Beavis had been nothing but rude and verbally insulting to Stewart, was Stewart finally having a genuine epiphany in this very moment and realizing Beavis and Butt-Head hated his guts all along and that Beavis truly didn't appreciate any of his friendship or sacrifice? Even when Stewart hangs out with them at the restaurant afterwards and acts friendly again, it's possible he hadn't fully processed just how much Beavis was an Ungrateful Bastard with little in the way of personal humanity or empathy. Considering Stewart is now an adult with what should be a developed mind and not a teenager anymore, his ability to assess Beavis and Butt-Head's true nature with adult clarity can be open for interpretation.
