• Cry for the Devil: The Duplicant Batman, an Iron Woobie who you can't help but feel sorry for after his Tomato in the Mirror moment. Especially when he thinks he's killed Bruce. Realizing what H.A.R.D.A.C. built him to do will kill more innocent people, he sacrifices himself to foil it. Bruce wonders if this meant the duplicate had a soul of his own.
  Bruce: It seems it was more than wires and microchips after all. Could it be it had a soul, Alfred? A soul of silicon, but a soul nonetheless?
• Harsher in Hindsight: This won't be the last time in this continuity that Batman will have a showdown with a Well-Intentioned Extremist alternate version of himself in the Batcave as they debate ethics during their fight. Except whereas Bruce is able to get through to the H.A.R.D.A.C. Batman here, his Justice Lord counterpart is able to convince Bruce of the "righteousness" of his and the other Lords' actions, however briefly.
