• Harsher in Hindsight: Bruce's fierce opposition to Terry wearing the Batsuit (apart from the outright theft) and Terry speculating something happened to Bruce besides him getting too old to be Batman. This takes on darker, more tragic context after the revelations of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker — and why Bruce was so opposed to any more successors.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Upon encountering Old Bruce, one of the Jokerz says "Let's put a smile on his face," a line more closely associated with a later incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime.
