• Hilarious in Hindsight: Jacqueline and Delphine's dynamic — where the blonde one is the leader and the redhead with the bob cut and teal colors in her outfit is the follower — feels surprisingly similar to that of another pair of French bullies who'd debut years later. For bonus points, Chloé in one episode attempts to copy the fashion designs of her rival in order to upstage her, which is exactly what Jacqueline had been doing to Millicent.
• Moe:
  • Alice, with her French accent, cute glasses and endearing Shrinking Violet personality.
  • Glimmer, for being The Baby of the Bunch.
• One-Scene Wonder: The Eris lookalike who buys Alice's dress design.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: As said by viewers who wish Barbie really did adapt The Princess and the Pea, in the style of her other movies.
• Values Resonance: The scene where Barbie looks at all the negative things people are saying about her has hit a chord with viewers even a decade after the movie came out, since the rise of online "cancel culture" has made such things far more common.
• The Woobie: Ken. Manipulated by Raquelle into breaking up with Barbie, he finds out that she's in Paris and wastes no time chasing after her. Unfortunately, life isn't very kind to him.
