YMMV / Avatar: The Last Airbender "The Runaway"

• Tear Jerker: Katara, unintentionally listening to Sokka and Toph's conversation, looks absolutely heartbroken when Sokka admits he can no longer remember what their mother looked like.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: During Katara and Toph's argument about the former being "motherly", Katara never mentions her own mother even once during said argument, let alone her death as it's the reason she's so "motherly". Instead, it was Sokka who mentioned her and his mother to Toph. It would've been very interesting to see how Toph would've reacted to Katara mentioning the latter's mother's death in their argument.
