• Alternative Character Interpretation: When Katara facetiously laments Toph being unable to see the beautiful stars during their fight, is she making a childish dig at Toph’s blindness, or is she criticizing Toph for shutting herself in her stone tent and not thinking too hard about what she’s saying?
• Harsher in Hindsight: Toph's comical jabs at Sokka not counting as a fighter due to his lack of bending can hit a little harder after watching "Sokka's Master" where he admits to feeling self-conscious about being the only non-bender in the group. To say nothing of the first season of The Legend of Korra, where the main focus is the conflict between Benders and Non-Benders, due to the latter group being marginalized by the former.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Combining the shot of all 4 Benders attacking Azula with the "Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart!" chant from the Captain Planet and the Planeteers closing theme — both as a still image and as a video.
  • Katara's infamous, "I'M COMPLETELY CALM!"
