• Fridge Horror: We see Aang in jail with a couple of other guys who seem really decent. Were they wrongfully convicted for ridiculous things too?
• Hilarious in Hindsight: "Imagine if you lost your arrow! Or if Katara lost her...hair loopies!" Come season three, and not only has Katara gotten a new hairstyle, but Aang is also forced to keep his arrow hidden at all times as the heroes infiltrate the Fire Nation.
• One-Scene Wonder: Kyoshi’s confession where she makes an epic Badass Boast and performs some majorly cool bending, one of the rare displays thus far of what a fully-realized Avatar is capable of, and finally demonstrate another previous Avatar, as well as finally hear a female Avatar talk, only lasts a few minutes.
