- Colbert Bump: Jackie Chan used their song "Kung Fu" for the end credits of Rumble in the Bronx because he liked the fact that they mentioned him in the lyrics. It ended up being one of their bigger hits.
- I Am Not Shazam: Ash was initially thought to be the name of a solo artist, when in actuality, it is a band in which none of the members are named "Ash".
