* AudienceAlienatingPremise: It a dating sim based on real people, though fictionlised. That alone would be enough to ward some people off, but with the [=ProJared=] scandal tainting it in an awkward light, many who once loved the game have disowned it, with it [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrFDhMV9VnQ being argued]] that the game was ''always'' destined to age poorly.

** Aging the game even worse is Jirard, aka the Completionist, undergoing his own accusations of his Open Hand Foundation not donating any of the money to dementia research like they said they would. The drama remains unresolved at the time of writing, but it certainly didn't help the game's already damaged reputation.
