• Alternate Character Interpretation:
  • Is Max a Fallen Hero who regrets his actions and sees helping Hamster and Indigo as his redemption, or a killer who destroyed his own city and clings to his former identity as a superhero as a way to escape his mistakes.
  • Likewise is Cleo simply a Lex Luthor Expy who fights Max for petty and selfish reasons, or a Tragic Villain forced to fight her husband when he started to go mad. Considering that her original plan was to depower Max and everyone else with powers instead of killing him, the latter interpretation does have some merit.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The Mananger's bodyguard is incredibly impressive as he proves to be an equal to Max and comes close to killing him.
