  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment:
    • "Kraf Dinner" is a goofy novelty song on the otherwise-serious Never, Neverland that was a nostalgic look at Jeff Waters' teenage years, but was completely incongruous with the vibe of the album as a whole.
    • Similarly "Chicken and Corn" is a goofy bonus track on the otherwise pretty dark "Carnival Diablos"
  • First Installment Wins: Alice in Hell is just about their only album not subject to Broken Base, on top of being considered a truly excellent thrash album.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Fairly well known in Europe and Asia, even playing big festivals like Wacken, but in North America are really only known in the underground scene. Waters once mentioned in an interview that he couldn't get the Ottawa Sun to write something about them while far younger, more local bands would get entire stories.
  • Growing the Beard: A lot of fans felt like this was the case for the period where Joe Comeau was in the band, as he was considered by many to be the finest vocalist they ever had.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song: The instrumental to "Snap" sounds an awful lot like "Ich Tu Dir Weh" by Rammstein while amusingly enough, the lyrics to each song seem to be polar opposites of one another, with the latter being about a cruel master hurting their 'plaything', and the former being about a person who is tired of being abused and ends up snapping and rebelling against their abuser.
