• Ass Pull: Not only does Diana in her disguise resemble Carolina so closely that it requires Acting for Two (the similarity is never explained), but the impostor also manages to fool Carolina's nearest and dearest (they only occasionally and vaguely suspect something) for several days, without even properly knowing anything about Carolina’s life. It looks like even the smartest characters have suddenly regressed to the intellectual level of Prince Derek.
• Fanon Discontinuity: Judging by the reviews and the fanfics, a number of fans pretend season three never happened. Nicólas’s death in the finale was not received well.
• The Woobie: Poor Carolina been kidnapped, drugged, psychologically tortured, or otherwise pushed to the brink of death to further someone else's goals, many times over.
