YMMV / Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S7E06 "Adapt or Die"

• Catharsis Factor:
  • After all of the atrocities they've caused, it's immensely satisfying seeing the Chronicoms get taken down, possibly for good:
    • The plot to Kill and Replace Stoner is foiled and the Chronicoms that attempted it are killed.
    • Coulson gives an epic Shut Up, Hannibal! to Sybil before blowing up the Hunter ship.
    • Luke is finally killed by Stoner.
    • The Chronicoms that had replaced Mack's parents are swiftly taken care of.
  • Nathaniel Malick gets his just desserts by being killed by the powers he sought to extract from Daisy.
• Harsher in Hindsight: All of the funny moments between Mack and his parents early in the episode become this in light of The Reveal that they're Chronicoms who murdered his real parents and stole their identities.
• He's Just Hiding: Suffice to say, nobody, in universe or out, believes that this is the last we've seen of Coulson.
• Paranoia Fuel: The Chronicoms aren't just looking human anymore; they're copying memories and stealing identities so they can perfectly impersonate anyone, including trusted S.H.I.E.L.D. agents or even your own parents, as Mack finds out.
• Squick: Daisy manages to get a piece of broken glass to Sousa by hiding it inside her palm.
