• Alternate Character Interpretation: Was Peter really as stupid as he and everyone else seem to think, or was he merely unobservant and a little gullible, but of average intelligence, outshone by his clever friends? And was he resentful that James and Sirius still wanted to be friends with a werewolf and that -according to him- they'd choose Remus over him any time, or merely resigned and insecure? Was that the root of the tragic betrayal later?
• Drinking Game:
  • Take a sip every time Remus whispers.
  • Take a shot every time someone says, "Hush". Drain the whole cup if it's Madam Pomfrey.
• The Woobie: Remus. With all the things happening to him throughout the story, such as being forced to keep a secret, feeling ill before and after the transformations, the pain he suffers during the transformation itself, being used as live bait by elitist prats to gain revenge on him and his friends, emotional suffering due to his condition, one cannot help but want to hug him. Sirius as well, with his family and all.
