• Angst? What Angst?: After the civil war, Twilight is quick to forget how Nightmare Moon treated her, and later on shows no emotional trauma from being branded.
• The Woobie: Twilight Sparkle just can't catch a break. First she becomes Nightmare Moon's pet, with only Silent Brook acting sympathetic towards her. Then Silent Brook reveals that she's a Deep Cover Agent who is out to kill Nightmare Moon and Moon Beam. Twilight manages to stop that, but at the cost of Silent Brooks life. Then she decides to stay with Nightmare Moon after her friends come to rescue her, damaging her friendship with them. After that, things quiet down for a while, and Nightmare Moon actually starts being nice to her... until a griffon assassin tries to kill Moon Beam and Nightmare Moon, causing Twilight to be killed by his sword, which is coated in wyvern venom. Nightmare Moon manages to revive Twilight, but isn't able to get rid of the Achey Scars. And that's just the beginning of her hardships.
