• Harsher in Hindsight: The Klingons go on and on and on about how it was a shame that "The only war they had with the Federation was interrupted with the Metrons," and Kirk saying that they had over a century of peace before said war. This story was written between 2004 and 2018, when that remained canon. Discovery would retcon it dramatically- in Discovery, there was a war between the Klingons and the Federation less than a decade before TOS, and the Federation spent most of it losing quite badly.
