• Anti-Climax Boss: For all the buildup throughout the story making Lord Redskull the Big Bad, and the reveal that he made an alliance with Chrysalis, they are both dealt with quickly in the antepenultimate chapter of the story, killed by Celestia and Luna respectively without being able to put up any fight.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: When Ember arrives at Twilight's castle to celebrate Spike's birthday, she resists the urge to take a bite out of the delicious looking gem walls. When Ember visits the castle in canon during "Triple Threat", she eats a few parts of the castle, thinking it was a friendship thing.
