Again, see InnocentInnuendo.InnocentInnuendo.
%%** The plot revolves around Outmodes, bots with outdated parts, being left in the dirt for upgrades by Bigweld Industries that, before Ratchet's takeover, gave them the necessary parts to stay functional. Without said parts, they're left falling apart, forcing them to either upgrade or be thrown to the Chop Shop. All in all, outmodes are an allegory for disabled peoples with the replacement parts and repairs being necessary medication or aides needed for them to function properly, and Bigweld Industries plays the role of a healthcare system that, under the control of money-hungry executives, refuses to give treatment for disabilities.

* AnAesop: The movie extols the virtue of innovation and desire to improve people's livelihood. It does this by contrasting Big Weld's prosperous society that he made for the city in contrast to self-interest driven ideals of [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Phineas T. Ratchet]] that ostracize less-modern "Outmode" robots into lower classes to be processed into upgrades for wealthier robots. Also, it showed the eventual [[TheDogBitesBack result]] of repression against lower classes as represented by [[spoiler:a massive revolt by the "Outmode" robots after a long time of being left to be broken by Ratchet's policy against them]].
