* WhatAnIdiot: You would expect after what happened to Toby when President Stone wanted his robot Peacekeeper to be powered with the Red Core in his belief that would bring him popularity to be elected as president of Metro City, that he would be more careful next time and think things through. But no, instead President Stone uses Red Core on Peacekeeper again to get the Blue Core from Astro (robotic clone of Toby who was accidentally killed) who escapes thanks to his father Tenma realizing that even if Astro is not Toby, he is still son, and as a result, he absorbs President Stone and starts wreaking havoc on Metro City. After after Peacekeeper is ultimately destroyed by Astro who willing sacrifices himself for the sake of Metro City, President Stone ends up being arrested and sent to prison for lifetime.

* HilariousInHindsight: To fans of the VideoGame/GearsOfWar franchise, President Stone may come across as a cartoon caricature of COG leader Chairman Prescott, both in his design and personality, both characters have a military force comprised of physically imposing armoured men, and lived in a intact isolated city in a post apocalyptic world. this is likely a coincidence, considering that the movie was in development around the same time that Gears of War 2 came out.
