* In ''WebAnimation/ThereSheIs'' ''Another Step'', Yi-ho radicalizes the Cat/Rabbit supporters. During the main series, Doki and Nabi are treated like criminals for simply being in love and being interracial (Doki is a rabbit and Nabi is a cat). This eventually leads to a violent movement of Cat/Rabbit protesters who go out of their way to harm the couple, and Cat/Rabbit Supporters who actively see them as heroes for challenging the status quo. During Another Step, Yi-ho, one of the Jjintta Set, becomes enraged after a fight with his brother Il-ho due to past trauma (they're interracial Cabbits), that Il-ho convinces the supporters to attack protesters, and eventually begins locking them up in a construction yard. The narrative has always framed the protesters in the wrong, but Another Step tries to show this extremist behavior as being wrong as well. The motive is justifiable, but the actions are not.

The way he sees it everyone from the high ups to the hobos in the slums and everyone in between has a 50/50 chance of being killed by the poisoned drugs.]]

** Sienna pushed the White Fang to adopt a more violent philosophy, and is willing to use violence when needed to further her goals. However, she ultimately wants respect and equality for the Faunus after the decades of racism and mistreatment they suffered. Ghira is the peaceful leader she ousted to reshape the White Fang, but even he admits that he condones Sienna ''intentions''; it's just her methods he opposes. [[spoiler:She condemns Adam's attack on Beacon as excessive and foolish, as it just reinforces humanity's prejudice towards Faunus. Adam kills her in a coup, believing that she's too soft and that humans should serve the Faunus.]]

** In Volumes 7-8, Ironwood desperately wants to stop the Big Bad, save lives, and keep both the Relics and Winter Maiden out of her hands. While his plan to do so is initially supported by the heroes, the villains' successful exploitation of his character flaws means he cracks under the pressure of fighting Salem, tries to abandon Mantle in favour of saving Atlas, and descends into authoritarianism; [[spoiler:he turns on anyone who disagrees with his methods, such as shooting people for disagreeing with him and threatening to bomb Mantle to force the Winter Maiden to the Vault.
