Supercell is a science fantasy webcomic started in 2015 on Official Website then going to BMBrice deviantart. The webcomic is also on Tapas and Webtoon.

This webcomic provides examples of the following tropes:

  • All There in the Manual: The official website explains why the characters look like Cartoon Creatures and why they are Mix-and-Match Critters who are alien.
  • Art Evolution: From the First pages to later more polished and shiny.
  • Bat Out of Hell: Fiida, one of the antagonists, has bat-like wings and travels at night.
  • Blood Magic: The magical system of the setting is dependent on life energy to function and the most common modern method are small containers holding liquid sapient blood (animal bloodletting was ineffective). In the past, the Rhonum League would rely on Human Sacrifice to accomplish great feats of magical power.
  • Child Soldiers: The academy has a secret military program called A.I.S.L.E. to turn some of the best students into a paramilitary force to advance the interests of its headmaster.
  • Military School: The academy, albeit secretly, maintains the A.I.S.L.E. program to turn talented youth into a capable force capable of resisting the threat of an undefined threat. The students are too young to be a Military Academy, magic, weapons and strategy are nonetheless professionally instilled in their students as a part of their continuing education.
