It's all a Dream in the End is a horror-drama webcomic by 24hourssleeping. It follows Andrea Stitch, an anthropomorphic cat, as she navigates a series of dreams, most of which are nightmares, alongside bunny Olivia Zipper. They appear to be trapped in a shared dream of which they're the only real occupants, and meet a clown who can appear anywhere unobserved, a horrifying mass of flesh trying to eat them named MEAT, and a dream version of Andrea's younger brother Andrew

This show provides examples of:

• Based on a Dream: Many of the horror elements are derived from the author's own nightmares
• Bloodier and Gorier:
  • MEAT is textured with an image of raw ground beef, and when attacking the theme color becomes red
  • Andrea and Olivia are frequently subject to grievous bodily harm
  • Olivia has a death scene in which she's nearly split down the middle, before waving goodbye and falling into a pool of acid. Two panels later, a skull is the only thing that remains
  • The final fight between Andrea and Andrew sees the former fighting on while missing half her head and significant parts of her body
• Body Horror:
  • One of MEAT's primary design motifs is body horror. He's textured with an image of raw ground beef, has a habit of taking parts out of people, and gains more unsettling attributes as the comic progresses
  • when the creature in the Hall of Bile's mask is broken, it reveals a stitched, otherwise featureless, disfigured body
• Cannibalism Superpower: After eating Clown, MEAT stuffs himself inside the fabric that made up his "skin", and in doing so gains the ability to move about in the same way that Clown could
• Cruel Twist Ending: When they finally open the box in Andrea's room, Olivia is revealed to be a fabrication of the dream, and slowly melts away while crying and hugging Andrea
• Dream Apocalypse: Andrew pleads with Andrea not to continue forward, partly on the claim he'll cease to exist when she wakes up
• Dream Land: The majority of the story takes place in an extended dream sequence, separated by doors
• Dream People: Everyone in the dream, aside from Andrea and Olivia, is implied to be imaginary
• Dream Emergency Exit: Andrea's primary motivation throughout most of the comic is finding a way to wake up
• Eating the Enemy:
  • The first time Andrea encounters into MEAT, he bites her head off
  • Late into the comic, MEAT eats Clown, piece by piece
• Evil Is Visceral: MEAT is one of the primary protagonists, and themed after gore and blood.
• Fantasy All Along: It's revealed that the "memories" Andrea and Olivia witnessed were tampered with by Andrew, and are mostly fabrications
• Funny Animal: Olivia, Andrea, Andrew, and many other characters in the dreams are anthropomorphic animals
• Heroic Sacrifice: After retrieving the key for Andrea's chest, Clown is captured and eaten by MEAT
• I'm a Humanitarian:
  • MEAT constantly complains of hunger, while Andrea and Olivia seem to be the only things on the menu
  • During the second visit to "The Fleet", Andrea and Olivia wake up to see that one of the crewmates has turned into a monster and eaten all the others. He proceeds to take a sizable chunk out of Andrea
• Literal Disarming: During the final battle between Andrea and Andrew, Andrew severs her arm with a meat-spike
• Meaningful Name: The clown is simply named Clown, and MEAT is a monster made of..... well, meat.
• Offscreen Teleportation: As long as Clown is unobserved, he can teleport anywhere else that isn't being observed
• Pyrrhic Victory: When in the Hall of Bile, Andrea is spurred on to defeat the creature assailing them after it brutally kills Olivia
• Respawn Point: When Olivia and Andrea die, they wake up in the same bed they started out in, memories and equipment intact
• Surreal Horror: Given the webcomic takes place in a dream, much of the horror relies on "dream logic"
• Swallow the Key: The fourth time we encounter MEAT, he steals the key for the chest in Andrea's room, and eats it
