Hooverville is a webcomic created by artist Ghostypeppers, (also known as Lucas R.) on December 31st, 2020. The series was inspired by many early 2000s flash content, with Homestar Runner being the main influence.
The official plot summary on Webtoon goes as follows:
"A long long time ago during the early 2000s, there was a duo of semi popular flash cartoon characters living in a silly town. Now it is no longer 2000 and these wacky characters are struggling to get by! Join Chawan Fortis, a grumpy eggplant punk, and Maya Moore, a fun loving one-eyed parrot, on their silly antics!! What could possibly go wrong?"
Although innocent sounding at first, the series will soon reveal [spoiler] that the town of Hooverville, UK is cursed, causing anybody who enters to be stuck there.
