Sayeon Lee despises Aberrants. they wreak havoc on society with their strange, unthinkable powers. It's just too bad she happens to be an Aberrant herself! Forced to fend for her life in the deadly Aberrant Corps, she's determined to make it to the top — if she can figure out of to use it in time.

  • Badass in a Nice Suit: The Aberrant Corps are required to where Suits when working, and most (atleast the red ties) are some flavor of Badass
  • Black-and-Grey Morality: While rogue Aberrant groups murder innocent people and participate in human trafficking. The Aberrant Corps kill weak Aberrants along with those that won’t kneel to them.
  • Dramatic Irony: From chapter 4 we know that Jaeil was murdered by the Aberrant Corps. Sayeon constantly attempts to get in contact with him, resulting in absences that can be chalked up to coincidence. when she finds out at the end of Season one she doesn’t take it very well.
  • The Dreaded: Red ties are this and ESPECIALLY level 10s (If points were an indicator of strength or skill then Level 10s are twice as experienced as level 9s)
    • Godlings were formerly considered this, but there are so little of them that most don’t think they still exist, and the people that do see them as weapons of mass destruction; a thing to be controlled rather than feared.
  • Eye Scream: Juni Chang wears an eyepatch, she didn’t when she received her orientation so she likely lost it.
  • Superhero School: The Aberrant Corps headquarter serves as this functionally, training the inexperienced so that they can eventually serve the Corps
  • Time Master: Sayeon has the power to turn back time by 20 seconds, this allows her to redo mistakes or go over many different timelines to gather information. However, every time she rewinds time she loses a bit more essence, meaning she can't do it infinitely
