Deadpool (subtitled Invisible Touch) is a Infinity Comics webcomic from Marvel Comics.

Between them, the super-scientists Tony Stark and Reed Richards have created a lot of technology that shouldn't be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. As they've both had times when they were fugitives, missing or temporarily dead, they have a legal arrangement to protect each other's patents and schematics.

This time, it didn't work. Both men were legally dead at the same time, and a third party claimed all of their work. A hard drive full of schematics and patents is now being auctioned to a room full of supervillains and other unsavoury characters.

Deadpool plans to steal it first. He's not the only person with that idea...

Deadpool (2021) contains examples of:

  • Art Shift: The story shifts into black and white for the flashback showing how Deadpool stole Stilt-Man's armor.
  • Big Bad: Although Deadpool never finds out, the Spot's employer is actually Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Sue is pretty unimpressed when she discovers that the Spot was unknowingly working for Tony, who'd decided that the best way to recover the hard drive was to pay a supervillain to get it.
  • Collateral Damage: When Electro, Deadpool and the Spot disrupt the Go-Betweener's auction, he summons a security squad to deal with them. Unfortunately for his mooks, they're not aware of the Spot's portal powers - and end up hitting themselves and their colleagues when their attacks are redirected.
  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: It's downplayed, but Sue is clearly unimpressed when she discovers that the Spot was unknowingly working for Iron Man all along, and all of the time she and Deadpool spent trying to recover the hard drive was pointless.
  • First-Episode Twist: The story is actually a team-up for Deadpool and the Invisible Woman but, other than the title, there's no clue to this until she appears at the end of the first issue.
  • Impersonation-Exclusive Character: The real Doctor Doom doesn't appear in the story, and for once it's not because he's a robot replica. This version of Doom is actually Iron Man in a suit that copies Doom's armor.
  • Mugged for Disguise: Deadpool knocks out Stilt-Man so that he can wear the villain's armor to the auction.
  • Stop Hitting Yourself: When Electro, Deadpool and the Spot disrupt the Go-Betweener's auction, he summons a security squad to deal with them. Unfortunately for his mooks, they're not aware of the Spot's portal powers - and end up hitting themselves and their colleagues when their attacks are redirected.
