Adventure Club
is a fantasy webcomic created by Kyo and maice. It debuted 6 November 2018. The comic features three characters who come together to do a job and decide to continue their travels as a party. It is hosted on ComicFury.
Characters:
- Ghostfoot: A half-elf druid, who was raised in solitude by her recently deceased mother.
- Hawkes: An orphan child who was working with a guild of thieves and captured by the Adventure Club.
- Isaac: A human ranger who was raised by raven people. A fire burned down the forest and he was separated from them, looking to reunite.
- O'Ban: A dragon wizard, son of a Necromancer. O'Ban is searching for his father's old mentor so he can learn the skill for himself.
Tropes:
- Aloof Ally: O'Ban joins Isaac and Ghostfoot since they're traveling in the same direction, even though he doesn't seem to like them.
- Bound and Gagged: Hawkes is tied up after refusing to behave himself.
- Caught in a Snare: Ghostfoot sometimes uses vines to capture others. Notably Rook in chapter 3.
- Normally, I Would Be Dead Now: Ghostfoot should have died after falling on her face in chapter 3.
- Rope Bridge: As soon as the group is halfway across the bridge, the rope is cut and they fall to their doom.
- Swamps Are Evil: Hawkes enters a swamp and is surrounded by giant man-eating toads.
- They Have the Scent!: Rook the Fox tracks Hawkes down after he steals everyone's possessions and runs away.
- This Way to Certain Death: In chapter one, Isaac and O'Ban are shown the corpse of the last guy who tried to kill the goblins.
