Rock Hard Gladiators (RHG for short) is an interactive way for animators to improve by challenging other animators into duels. Participants create animations featuring their Original Characters, which will be voted upon by the public after completion. It can be said that this is Entervoid meets Xiao Xiao.

Founded in Rock Hard Anims, the system was carried over to FluidAnims after the website shut down. The popularity skyrocketed in a span of a few years from the site's bustling community and longevity. Due to financial concerns with maintaining the website, FluidAnims was shut down as their community was merged with the forums of StickPage where it continued to this day.

Also has a Spiritual Successor in Hyun's Dojo under the name of Dojo Duels.

This OC battle system provides examples of:

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Because almost everyone is a plain stick figure, colors help distinguish one character from another when they don't have other unique identifiers.
  • Artifact Title: Rock Hard Anims was shut down long ago but the name remained when it was transferred to FluidAnims.
  • Badass Crew: RHG Clans, groups of up to six members each. Examples include Nemesis, The Ministry and Zetabrand.
  • Excuse Plot: Many gladiators have simple backstories and numerous fights have begun under simple pretenses.
  • Iconic Item: A huge majority has one to help stand out from each other outside of color differences.
  • Nonstandard Character Design: Some gladiators are not portrayed as stick figures, such as The French.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: Many fights, especially the early ones, simply have the gladiators fight immediately out of nowhere.
  • Original Character Tournament: Minus the actual Tournament Arc.
  • One-Man Army: Lots of them.
  • Spin-Off: There's an equally-popular counterpart that trades visual spectacle for storytelling depth through writing.
  • Stick Figure Animation: One of the contributing factors to its success. Animating stick figures is easy to pick up and allows more time to focus on choreography and spectacle.
  • Story Arc: Some animators try to create a storyline from their gladiators' battles and backstories.
  • Switching P.O.V.: Every animator creates their own battles with their characters, resulting in there being no clear main character or perspective.
  • World of Badass
  • World of Technicolor Hair: Whenever the human version of one of the gladiators is drawn, they ALWAYS have an odd hair color.
