The death of Heracles trying to free Prometheus directly led to the Death of the Gods

In some tellings, especially Aeschylus's Prometheus plays, Zeus allowed Heracles to free Prometheus because the Titan had information about a threat against the gods and his freedom was the price in exchange. The warning was that any son of Thetis would be greater than his father which warned both Zeus and Poseidon away from pursuing an affair with Thetis and set her up with the mortal Peleus instead. With Heracles dead, Prometheus kept the prophecy to himself and did not stop either god from pursuing Thetis and in doing so gave birth to their own destruction.

The Tyrant Riot deliberately sabotaged Olympia to spite the Mother

The memories from the Orphic House explicitly state that Hera hated and tormented Dionysus, potentially across multiple incarnations. If Bakkhos had access to those memories, then it does not seem a stretch that he might seek revenge. This provides additional context to his subjugating the other Tyrants and forcing them all to play nice for years; aside from providing amusement, it guaranteed an explosive finish for the city as soon as any of them thought they had a chance to seize dominion.
