Additionally, it is logical to conclude that without discovering Reese on her planet, the Asgard would have never unlocked the subspace signal to mass the Replicators into a single time-dilation field, resulting in their continued duplication and, if the events of "Enemies" can be taken as possible indication, expansion into other galaxies, growing to a level where even the Asgard couldn't contain them and thus lose the war.[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Daniel hastened the doom of the alternate SGC in ‘There But For The Grace Of God’.]]
I was rewatching SG-1 and during ‘There But For The Grace Of God’ and I noticed something curious about the timing. Right after the nuke is sent to alternate Chulak, alternate Teal’c begins his attack on the SGC. This would imply his attack was in response to Chulak being nuked, meaning he would have known where the SGC was but chose to ignore it until then. Given that he likely had the same sympathies as prime Teal’c he probably ignored the SGC so they could allow more humans to escape, but once he found out his homeworld had be destroyed, avenging his family was all that mattered. This only happened because Daniel had given them the address for Chulak, he had no idea they would send the nuke through, but without his info Teal’c probably would have delayed his attack as long as possible allowing more people to escape.

[[WMG: A way exists to remote-dial one stargate using another.]]
The existence of the point-of-origin key would be superfluous if this wasn't the case: If one stargate could only be used to dial another, there'd be no need for this additional step. So logically, there are other modes of operation the Tau'ri have yet to discover. One of these could be a way to use one stargate to cause a second gate to dial a third gate. There could be a trick to it that has prevented the SGC from discovering it - one might need to enter one address, hold a key for a few seconds, then enter the second address, for example. Perhaps the second address needs to be entered relative to the first address, not the gate being used to remote-dial.
This is how races like the Asgard are seemingly able to establish a wormhole from Earth's gate on command without dialling it. They know the SGC use a dialling computer, so they simply have someone back in the Othala galaxy scheduled to input earth's address, then the address of the gate they want to establish a wormhole to from earth.

[[WMG: There's a Galaxy full of Asgard looking aliens]]
The reason given why so many human looking aliens exist in the Milky Way is that they were seeded on Earth by the ancients then spread out. Perhaps the Asgard or the Furlings (see my Ra was a Furling theory) made species that looked like them and they similarly spread out. Matti23

* This might also feed into a plot point that was discussed for the MMO with the Furlings creating the Goa'uld. He might be a remnant of that origin and have gone renegade with the Goa'uld under his control. We've seen renegade ancients, renegade Asgard, this could be the Furling equivalent. Matti23

It certainly explains how a Furling Archway made its way to a Egyptian Tomb on Earth. Matti23
