Gampu and Smith share strong characteristic similarities. Gampu is a considerably older, wiser version of Doctor Smith. The reluctance to walk into danger, the "spare me the. . ." catchphrase, and notable other comments. Gampu is canonically over three hundred years old. Gampu has been said to have been through so many science phenomenons in his career that he now slowly ages. But why would this slowly aging process apply to his brother, Johnny Sunseed, also over three hundred years old?
- The Robinsons likely came upon a planet that Sunseed resided with claims that he was over a hundred when he appeared to be in his forties. Given Smith's canonical wish of immortality, it's not a stretch to think that he did exactly what Sunseed had said about becoming immortal in a way. But it changed Smith in ways that were not expected.

Get into systems through a series of codes and a number of things that Peepo has been seen to be able to do. Peepo is more advanced than they seem to be and worth the slow speed.
