The Sega and Capcom characters came from the reverted Multiverse from the end of Worlds Collide
.In Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) #256, NICOLE states that the entire Multiverse was essentially recreated from the ground up after the Super Genesis Wave was altered. But, thanks to the Screwed by the Lawyers that brought about it, we really can't have a multiverse of Sonics anymore. Solution? Ian Flynn has created the Archie Sega and Archie Capcom multiverse from the ruins of the old multiverse. The unrevealed characters in the teaser image

.With the latest reveal of the Gore Magala being added to the series, it's trade mark will have to join. Since Mega Man would be immune to the virus because he is a robot, it would fall to him to save his allies.- Didn't happen. After all, Gore Magala was taken out pretty easily by Sigma-3.
The sequel will involve a crossover with Sega, Capcom and Disney.
