Mamoru is Konoha's boss in 2023
This can be assumed for two reasons. First is that the man hasn't been named so far. Second is that Konoha only drawing character's backs might be a stealth visual pun for her having returned (came back) from the 1990s so many times.- A third hint is that, after Mamoru's father is scammed by Ichigaya, Meiko and Kaori mention that the fame resulting from Horoscope's success went to his head, and that he should have just stuck to "humbly making games" instead of trying to expand even further. If Mamoru grew up to be Blue Bell's CEO, that would explain why they're so unambitious in 2023: he's trying to avoid repeating his father's mistakes.
- The biggest reason this probably will be jossed is that there's no way anybody wouldn't know what their employer's name is.
- Definitively jossed in Episode 9: Konoha encounters Mamoru in an alternate 2023, who looks nothing like her boss.
- Bishoujo games taking more influence from American media, as depicted in Episode 10.
- For example, Fight Club getting adapted into a Boys' Love game instead of a movie (If Bishoujo games took off in America, so would BL games).
