The show is from Candy's perspective and almost all the nasty and misogynistic things that were said to her was just her recollection blowing what actually happened out of proportion. She was arrested for running over Rudolph Jr. and leaving him to die. The entire thing about Santa being a kingpin was just a complete fabrication Candy made up while ranting about the patriarchy to her cellmate.
