Taking into account the time skip between the prologue and the rest of the movie, Ruber definitely travelled a lot throughout Eurasia. The barbarian horde he took control of looks vaguely Central Asian (and his pet griffin is ultimately a creature from Iranian mythology). That would also explains why his barbarian minions are almost voiceless: they know little to no Gaelic (or whatever Celtic language the main cast speaks). On the other hand, their leader learned their language long enough to talk to them as fluently as to the heroes. That said, it's kind of baffling they are shown riding boars instead of [[BornInTheSaddle horses]].

* If Lionel really wanted to help both children achieve their dreams as Knights of the Round Table (and the film never gives any indication that Lionel didn't mean to honor his promises to them or give his support,) Kayley and Garrett meeting as children and eventually marrying would still work into that as both would have something working against them (Garrett's blindness and, though only really implied, Kayley's gender,) so having each other either as a romantic partner or JustFriends would help lighten the burdens they'd face. Given how fast they fall in love during the events of the film and how well Lionel knew each of them as children, he'd probably be very confident that a ChildhoodFriendRomance would have resulted from their meeting (and damn if picturing Kiddos Kayley and Garrett together isn't an overload of adorableness in itself).

His victory of conquering Camelot, resulted him completely taking over all of Britain, which in turn affecting the timeline, thus causing the modern day United Kingdom to be vulnerable to the collapse of civilization by nuclear war.

[[WMG: The dress Kayley was being fitted for was so she could meet a suitor.]]
Except Julianna didn't tell her that knowing Kayley would object to being married off as it would have interfered with her dream of being a knight, so she passed it off as meeting some old friends and their son who happened to be Kayley's age or near enough that Kayley wouldn't think them being pushed together being strange.

[[WMG: Kayley is going to be the next ruler of Camelot after Arthur.]]

In the end, Ruber sings his same song again, but this time, sing of his triumphant over the heroes and enjoying being a harsh ruler.
