[[WMG:[[VideoGame/{{Contra}} Emperor Devil Gava]] is the GreaterScopeVillain of ''Otomedius''.]]
Dark Force rides a Ride Viper called Black Viper, which is a reference to Gava's sister. Of course, She could be Black Viper all along, and the Red Falcon has planned to invade the ''Otomedius'' verse after failing to conquer the ''Contra'' verse.
* [[GovernmentConspiracy Or is it The Triumvirate doing that all along?]]

Even though she's explicitly based off of a ''Parodius'' boss, that boss was based off of the [[SpiderTank Shadow Dancers]] from ''Gradius II'' onward, so it would stand to reason that her Bacterian form would be derived from those bosses, in particular Crab from ''Gradius II'', since that's where her {{Leitmotif}} ("The Final Enemy") originated.

[[WMG:Erul has a human name and an alien name.]]
Due to being a ChildOfTwoWorlds, she'd go by "Erul Tron" on Gradius and presumably "Ellie Burton" elsewhere, explaining her relation to David Burton. Since St. Gradius School is in Japan, she just uses Erul because her Earth name would be just as foreign to the others there anyway.

[[WMG:T.B. Rika's Bacterian form is a lung or a pair of lungs.]]
Yes, her Parodius equivalent was ''legs,'' so that's still possible, but her name suggests tuberculosis, much like the Gofer sisters' names showing that they're two halves of a Bacterian whose alien form was a brain (L.B. and R.B. suggest Left Brain and Right Brain).

[[WMG: The Busou Shinki ''Moon Angel'' OVA is a prequel to the Otomedius series]]
The human-sized Shinki-based combat gynoid chassis Kaguya and her sister Strarf [=MK2=] were meant to serve as twinned processor nodes for is a predecessor to the human-sized Arnval and Strarf [=MK1=] seen in the series proper - the design team was never able to perfect their creation(s) until captured Bacterian technology was offered to them, replacing the tiny Shinkis being used as their cores with Bacterian processor nodes.

The Tripod Core looks similar to some Metal Gears, so it could be assumed that it's a modified version from them.

The [[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} main timeline]] reaches past 2011 (the setting of ''Excellent'') and still no aliens, but no AlternateContinuity has gone past the Middle Ages -- so why not? The other represented canons all take place in space and/or in the distant past (save for ''BusouShinki'', which doesn't have much of a continuity except for the anime, which we know for a fact isn't canon to ''Otomedius''). And Kokoro's comments about her family aren't specific enough to pinpoint a timeline.

* This would also explain why the Bacterians don't seem to be able to harnass Platonic power. They're all evil or twisted in some fashion, and thus can't use a power rooted in kindness.

[[WMG: Platonic Power is the power of Kindness.]]
Diol and Poini, according to various sources, have the highest Platonic Power ratings in the squadron. They also happen to be without-a-doubt the nicest, most selfless girls on the team. Incidentally, after Anoa defeats Dark Force/Death Bringer and comments that she's sorry, her Platonic Power surges and she goes Hyper.
