Squire is still a kid as a ghost, so Patch wouldn’t be directly descended from him, but it is very likely he would have had siblings, especially since he lived in a castle, implying he was nobility in some capacity, and Patch would be descended from one of said siblings. This familial connection could tie in with the great destiny theory as well.
