Aside from resembling her (sans the beauty mark near her left eye) she has the same trait of her true nature being revealed in pictures taken of her on a camera,. The fact that she's not a massive jerkass and a narcissist is part of her defect, as she has actual humility as well as a sense of empathy, as she humbly relegates herself to being a simple waitress as well as having "geeky" interests like the supernatural. As to why she's able to see the supernatural, it could be an ability that all Tomies share, or part of her "defects".
