The radio play is a Take That! at the audience/filmmakers.
The end of the movie jumps ahead a couple decades to reveal what happened to the principle characters through a true crime radio play. The radio show is fairly tasteless, sensationalizing the murders, having white men do stereotypical "Indian" voices, and even altering the historical record to include product placements.

Then, most strikingly, Martin Scorsese himself appears onscreen to read the final portion of the radio play. It is as if he is saying that Killers of the Flower Moon is just as guilty as this radio play for dramatizing the horrific murders of the Osage.

"Do you see the wolves in this picture?" is a purposeful Take That! at fans who saw Jordan Belfort as an aspirational figure.
