WMG / Hundreds of Beavers

Go To

The entire movie is a loose adaptation of Dante's Inferno.
  • Jean begins the film as a hedonistic lost soul. He loses his all of his earthly possessions and finds himself in a dark wood. He is guided by the two fur trappers and faces the Seven Deadly Sins: gluttony (the opening scene/visions of food), lust (the rabbits/The Furrier's striptease), wrath (the Merchant), greed (also the Merchant), pride (the beavers' Tower of Babel), envy (his desire for the trapper's bag of pelts) and sloth (the sleeping wolves). After a final confrontation with an evil abomination on a frozen lake, Jean escapes and is united with his true love in a marriage that signifies his salvation.
