After the end of the movie

Bick makes a phone call and buys Sarge's Diner out from under him. He then starts franchising the operation, lowering his costs using beef from Reata herds, and makes a new fortune as a restauranteur. All locations will serve Latinos and whites (and, after segregation is legally ended in Texas, blacks) without restriction.
