D-stroy will try to win Skrap it's trust.
He will seize D-structs poor treatment as an opportunity to win over Skrap it because even if he's not the smartest tool, he's very useful like when he made D-structs claw tail.
  • Jossed: D-Stroy more or less treats Skrap-It the same as D-Structs would and doesn't really seem to do anything special to earn his favor. Although being Skrap-It, he starts to crave D-Stroy's attention too anyway.
D-stroy is secretly plotting to take the crater and everything else D structs has for revenge.
After what happened with the avalanche, D-stroy harboured a great hatred for his younger brother and is only helping him take the crater is so that he could take it and anything else to make D-structs pay
  • Jossed: D-Stroy never makes a move against D-Structs, D-Structs makes a move against D-Stroy.
D-structs will team up with the Trux to take down his brother in the final season.
  • Somewhat confirmed depending on how you want to define it. D-Structs never explicitly fights side by side with the Trux to take down D-Stroy, but he does allow the Trux to take D-Stroy down for him.

The show takes place in the prehistory of the Cars universe
The "car dinosaurs" seen in Cars on the Road look pretty similar to the DinoTrux characters. Presumably over millions of years, these Mechanical Life Forms "evolved" into the vehicles of the Cars world.
  • Jossed: Dinotrux and Cars are two different universes. Not to mention, Disney and DreamWorks have never co-produced anything together. Just because the shows both have or had dinosaur cars that look similar, it doesn't mean that they're the same. The Cars prehistory is not canon to Dinotrux's and vice versa.

Dinotrux are related to Cybertronians
While Dinotrux don't transform, they are similar mechanical lifeforms.

Ty was adopted.
Twitter user bioniclegoodguy posted the headcanon that Ty was raised in Maiasaura herd to explain why he's different than the other Ty Truxes. Since that theory was about AU where characters from the show are their real life counterparts, in the show 'verse Ty was raised by Deliveradons from the original Chris Gall books (who in the show are half-Maiasaura, half-delivery van type of Trux).

If the show got more seasons, more species of Dinotrux and similar looking creatures could have appeared.
These would include:
     Species from original books:
  • Diggersaurus - half-Styracosaurus, half-front-loader.
  • Deliveradon - half-Maiasaura, half-delivery van.
  • Towadon - half-Edmontosaurus, half-tow truck.
  • Semisaurus - half-Seismosaurus, half-semi truck. In terms of size they're longer and bigger than Craneosaurus, but smaller than Dreadtrux. They're often migrating in search of ore and/or breeding grounds. A characteristic feature of the species is that Semisaurs speak in trucker lingo.
  • Firesaurus - due to fire truck based Dinotrux role already being held by Hydrodon, Firesaurus in the show is half-Cryolophosaurus and half-flamethrower. They are distant relatives of the Gluphosaurs.
  • Septisaurus - half-Barapasaurus, half-septic truck. They are distant relatives of the Tankersaurus.
  • Tankersaurus - half-Amargasaurus, half-tanker truck. They are distant relatives of the Septisaurus.
  • Scoopasaurus - half-Protoceratops, half-mini excavator/bulldozer. They are distant relatives of the Dozeratops.
     Original species:
  • Allocruiser - half-Allosaurus, half-police cruiser. Their police sirens look similar to Allosaurus brow horns, they have grappling hooks at end of their tails and their "legs" resemble those of Ankylodump and Poundersaurolophus. Their main goal in life is to keep order and protect other Trux and Tools.
  • Sarcocruiser - half-Sarcosuchus, half-amphibia. They're semi-aquatic species of Dinotrux. Their heads resemble those of Aquadons, while their treads look similar to Sawmetrodon treads.
  • Motorlania - half-Megalania, half-motor/car engine. They are very dangerous species of Trux, with their venomous bite making other Trux rust to death. They have spines along their backs like an iguana.
