WMG / Creed (2015)

The reason why nothing from 'Rocky Balboa' carries over to this (besides out of universe reasons) is because it's an alternate timeline from Rocky V

The other movie is the finale of Rocky's tale in particular while the Creed movies are Adonis' tale with Rocky supporting him, a far longer road to reaching the point of "peace" compared to the other movie. This easily explains the lack of anything from that movie as in this timeline, it's never happened.
