Until You Fall is a VR sword fighting game from Schell Games, Prepare for the fight of your life. Move your arms and body to the synthwave soundtrack as you attack, block, cast spells, and dodge your way deeper into the heart of a neon fantasy world filled with magic-infused monsters. It was released on August 27, 2019 on Steam and the PlayStation 4. It was launched on the Oculus Quest on September 29, 2020.
Until you Fall contains examples of:
- After the End: The world has gone through some apocalypse, known as the Calamity, which has left all the other protectors of the world corrupted.
- Anti-Frustration Features: Until You Fall has three difficulties, which allows regenerating hearts at the easier difficulties.
- Dual Wielding: You will almost always be wielding two weapons, unless the using one of a couple of offhand items, or using one of the recently added two-handed swords.
- Flaming Sword: Many of your special abilities cause your sword to emit ghostly flames, showing the attack will be triggered on the next attack.
- One-Handed Zweihänder: Avoided. The two-handed swords are impossible to wield one-handed and take both hands to move.
