The McMilian Tree Lot is a horror game developed by Zed_Technician.

The cool wintery months are finally here and it's time once again to open McMilian's Tree Lot to the general public. The owner Cynthia happily waves off the second last of her many customers when she realizes that something is terribly wrong this evening. One of people who ventured inside the lot hasn't come back out in several hours, meaning they're either lost... or trapped.

Knowing of the dark history behind the place Cynthia grabs her trusty shotgun Ms. Reliable and ventures forth into the lot to make sure a tragic fate hasn't befallen her unsuspecting guest. Unfortunately, as the lights begin to dim over the empty tree lot it starts to come alive... and not in any good ways.

The McMilian Tree Lot provides examples of:

  • Bad Moon Rising: During the last loop before Cynthia reaches the center of the lot a massive blood red moon rises over the horizon.
  • Eldritch Location: In the light of day the McMilian Tree Lot seems perfectly safe but at night it turns into a near endless maze of looping terrain stalked by homicidal wooden nutcracker soldiers. Then you get to what lies at the center of the cursed lot...
  • Multiple Endings: Per the usual Zed_Technician game, what ending you get depends on whether Cynthia accomplishes her mission or gets caught by the nutcrackers pursuing her.
  • Rhymes on a Dime: Throughout the game, the narration and the characters themselves are speaking and telling the story in rhyme.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: Cynthia goes through her venture into the lot with her handy shotgun, shooting down sentient nutcrackers that try to stop her from saving her missing customer and escaping back alive.
  • When Trees Attack: The massive Gretel Tree in the deepest part of the lot is a strange otherworldly entity that controls wood and sends an army of wooden nutcrackers to try and kill Cynthia. It's also stated by her that this type of tree only grows on mass grave sites, calling into question what sort of horrors may have happened in the lot's past to even create such a gruesome thing.
