Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (not to be confused with the SEGA official episodic game) is a bootleg unlicensed video game for the SNES. It's a Game Mod of Speedy Gonzales: Los Gatos Bandidos.

Continuity Cameo:
- Unfortunately, despite Tails is absent in the SNES game, he makes the cameo in the SNES title screen.
- Also the same with Luigi, who makes the cameo in the SNES continue and game over.
Crossover: Indeed. Obviously, this is a crossover because both Sonic and Mario appear.
Game-Breaking Bug: On some emulators, after four Zones, the SNES game freezes resulting in it being unbeatable.
Game Mod: This game is actually a ROM hack for another game known as Los Gatos Banditos replacing Speedy Gonzales with Sonic.
Platform Game: This game is a platformer, much like most games in the series it's based on.
Unwinnable: On some emulators, after four Zones, the SNES game freezes resulting in it being unbeatable.
A Winner Is You: The ending cutscene is just the game congratulating you and saying that Sonic and Mario are good friends.
