Solitaire Cruise is a 2007 game based on Solitaire. You travel around the world, from USA to Japan, on a cruise ship called the Britannic. You match cards with the same number to clear them and can take cards from the stockpile with two slots. To win, you have to clear out all cards on the game board, but you'll unlock a new layout if you clear out all cards in the stockpile as well. Each country has six layouts to play through, but unlocking all of them in free play mode will take multiple playthroughs.

This game provides examples of:

  • 100% Completion: The game tracks how many layouts you've unlocked with a percentage. To unlock each one, you'll have to play through multiple times.
  • And the Adventure Continues: The ending letter tells you to come back to the Britannic for another adventure, hinting that you can keep playing to unlock layouts.
  • Flawless Victory: To win perfectly and unlock a new layout in free play mode, you have to win with all cards on the board and the stockpile.
  • Playlist Soundtrack: There's an option to have your own folder with .mp3 music to provide music.
  • Power-Up: Some cards are marked with "Restock" and "Reshuffle", granting one more use of these actions, or "Reserve", which grants one more slot for stockpile cards.
  • Score Multiplier: You gain more points upon making enough card matches in a row quickly, with it increasing as the combo gets longer.
