- Character Customization: Essentially the reason behind the "Studio" title, a large part of the game and its creative process and advertising mentions the amount of customization a player can have, including creating their own fighters using an in-game mode.
- Level Editor: An official Stage Editor is planned for a future release of the game.
- Ring Out: The way to win a match is to be the last one standing. Characters lose lives by being flung into the KO Zone, or by falling below in the Bottomless Pit.
